Fall is an exciting time at the University of Memphis. This is particularly true at the Herff College of Engineering. Construction is ongoing as we make much needed physical improvements to the exterior and interior of the Herff buildings; we continue to see growth in enrollments through our extensive recruitment and retention efforts - new freshmen enrollment is up by 50%; our faculty are consistently recognized not only for their excellent instruction in the classroom, but also for their research and scholarship efforts; a significant number of our undergraduate students are participating in internships and co-op assignments and are securing full-time employment upon graduation; and our alumni continue to be leaders in their respective fields.
