Program Admission
National Merit Finalists/National Achievement Finalists, and recipients of the Presidential, the Provost's, and the Dean's Scholarships are automatically admissible to the Program upon receipt of their applications.  Generally, our minimal admission requirements are a 27 ACT, or its equivalent on other tests, and a 3.50 high school GPA.

Transfer students or students currently enrolled at the University of Memphis are also eligible for the Honors Program if they have earned an overall grade point average of 3.25.

Students who do not qualify in one of these ways will be considered for provisional admission upon direct application.

To be considered for admission, applicants must be admitted to the University of Memphis and complete a separate application for admission to the Honors Program.  An application may be submitted on-line from the Honors Program's website.  Apply Now!
