Brooke Beck

I am from Lawrenceburg, a small town in southern middle Tennessee. I have my undergraduate degree from Tennessee Tech University in Cookeville. My interest for this field developed when I took an Introductory Nutrition Class that was so interesting, I changed my major to Food, Nutrition, Dietetics. I am excited to learn more about nutrition and how to communicate nutrition intervention to help people improve their quality of life. I am looking forward to learning more about the areas to apply the field of nutrition.

Lynn Dittman

I am originally from California, born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. My education background includes a B.S. in Design from the University of California, Davis, and I am one class away from completing my second B.S. in Education from the University of Memphis. I am married, with no children, and one dog. I have been interested in nutrition ever since I took my first college nutrition course to fulfill a general education requirement. The more I learn about nutrition, the more I am fascinated by it. After completing this program, I hope to work on research, policy, education, and programs that emphasize nutrition as an instrument to prevent disease and enhance quality of life. I have lived in California, Texas (twice, once north, once south), the United Kingdom, and I was married in Colorado. My husband and I have lived in Tennessee for three years, while family members remain in California, Illinois, Virginia, Germany, and France.

Christin Faccio

I am 25 years old and am graduating from Michigan State University on May 3rd. I am from East Lansing, Michigan. I originally became interested in nutrition when my mother passed away from heart disease at 48. From this stemmed my fascination with the effect nutrition can have on serious diseases. I love learning and am always looking to expand my mind. I enjoy leadership, hard work and finding my next big project! I believe that nothing is impossible with enough dedication I can't wait to become a certified aerobics instructor and also love to write.

Taylor Fisher

Taylor is originally from Memphis and completed her undergraduate degree from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas. Her love and passion for nutrition stems from her thirteen years of competitive figure skating and six years of running cross-country, and she hopes to some day get the chance to work with other athletes. She also has a passion for pediatric nutrition and will be completing her GA at LeBonheur Childrens Medical Center.

Laura Kunces is from Connecticut and did her undergraduate degree at the University of Connecticut. She swam for 4 years on the varsity swim team where she began her love with Nutrition by learning how important it is for optimal athletic performance.
