This section is designed to assist you in your thesis or Masters project process.
Especially for the thesis, there are many rules and procedures that must be followed.
All should be found at this site. Additionally, you will find ancillary information
that you might need. Links to forms needed throughout the thesis process, as well
as other helpful sites, are also included. Although you will work closely with your
thesis or Masters project committee, this guide should make the process run more smoothly.
Because procedures may change, the site (including links) should always be re-checked
before an important meeting (prospectus or final defense) to make sure the forms/procedures
you have used are still current.
Interns completing the thesis will need to review the Thesis Guidelines and Committeee Responsibilities. Here are the necessary forms and examples of cover pages you will need. You will also need to review Human Subjects procedures for our campus. The style section will provide guidance on formatting and other issues you will encounter as
you complete your written product.
Although the Masters project does not have to follow Graduate school guidelines as
closely as the thesis project, the style section will helping determining how to set up the paper that must be completed.
You might also need the information provided on the Human Subjects file.
For all interns, you will work closely with the faculty member that agrees to chair
your culminating experience, whether it be a thesis or a Master project. This site
is designed to make the process a little less complicated but, it is your committee
chair that guides the process for you.
