PETE 7007 - Advanced Clinical Practicum (3)
PETE 7008 - Professional Seminar (1)
Note: First Aid and CPR are required. All students must have current certification at time of graduation.
Students in this track do not have to apply to the TEP, but must apply for Advanced Clinical Practicum in Ball Hall room 202. Students must attend a mandatory student teaching meeting in fall or spring. Practicum will last for five weeks and a university supervisor will evaluate during that time. Students who have a valid teaching license should have already met requirements expected of a person in the Teacher Education Program. If the student has a license from an accredited teacher education program, he/she was admitted to TEP, and would not need to be admitted again.
After taking all course work, students must pass ETS PRAXIS II exam(s) to meet state requirements. Test booklets for registration can be picked up at the Info Center at the corner of Central and Patterson, or the Testing Center at Brister Hall, or online at ETS.
