Memphis Mathematics and Science Teacher Induction Fellowship (MMASTIF)

The Memphis Mathematics and Science Teacher Induction Fellowship (MMASTIF) program,
co-sponsored by the University of Memphis and Memphis City Schools, is a multi-year
grant to prepare and support mathematics and science teachers. The goal of the program
is to develop high quality teacher leaders in mathematics and science who will work
in Memphis City Schools. The program is funded in part by the National Science Foundation’s
Robert Noyce Teacher Scholarship Program. The program currently serves two cohorts
of secondary mathematics and science teachers by providing early-career mentoring
and professional development support.
