The Teaching All Learners (TAL) major contains three parts. First, the General Education
component contains lower division courses in the liberal arts and sciences. Second,
the Professional Education courses are essential for teachers at all levels. Third,
the Special Education component contains advanced courses and experiences that lead
to specialized professional knowledge unique to teaching students with disabilities.
The Teaching All Learners program leads to licensure in a K-12 Modified (Learning
Resource) classroom and a regular elementary education (K-6) classroom.
