Integrated Microscopy Center (IMC) at the University of Memphis

The Integrated Microscopy Center (IMC) is a resource facility of the University of Memphis. It provides expertise in the use of microscopy to students, faculty and researchers at the University of Memphis and throughout the immediate area.

The IMC houses light microscopes and electron microscopes and ancillary equipment sample preparation. It is located on the ground floor of the Life Sciences Building. Announcements

On May 29, 2013, the IMC opened a Materials Science Laboratory including a class 1000 clean room, an AJA Orion deposition unit that can be used as a sputtering system as well as a thermal evaporator, a model 152 Tamarack mask aligner/exposure system, photoresist coating hood and a wire bonder. Dr. Felio Perez, a Physics and Materials Science PhD is responsible for the operation of the Materials Science Laboratory and can be contacted at: fperez@memphis.edu.
