The IMC reports directly to the Office of the Vice-Provost for Research and Graduate School. The staff of the IMC consists of a Director, a Medical Director a Coordinator and a staff of technicians. The Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the IMC.

Each staff member is a skilled microscopist with expertise in histology and electron microscopy that can assist users with research, including sample preparation and microscopic observation.
