The Fogelman College of Business & Economics offers scholarship opportunities for incoming International MBA students.   The deadline to apply for most FCBE scholarships is March 1.  Scholarship awardees will be notified by mail on or before August 1. Scholarships for International MBA students are highly competitive and limited in number. The following scholarships are offered to International MBA students.

Sunshine Enterprises Scholarship Program

Mr. Chen graduated from the International MBA program at The University of Memphis in 1998. Since then he has been a successful entrepreneur. On completing the International MBA program, he launched Sunshine Enterprises, a wholesaler and distributor of Chinese construction and industrial equipment in North America. The company employs more than 400 employees and has significant operations in the US and China.

In 2008 Mr. Chen committed to donate $250,000 to the International MBA program. This has enabled the program to offer significant scholarships to its students thereby attracting very good students to the program. While making his donation, Mr. Chen expressed his desire to see the program be successful at the national and international level. Besides the donation, Mr. Chen has been a strong supporter of the program and frequently meets with the students to share his knowledge with them.

• Full time graduate student in the International MBA program
• Minimum 3.5 GPA

Neil W. Baugh International Scholarship:

• Full-time graduate student in the International MBA Program
• Minimum 2.75 GPA
• Must be a United States citizen
• Preference given to students with financial need.

SunTrust Graduate Business Scholarships:

• Master’s candidates enrolled in FCBE, having graduated in high standing with an undergraduate degree
• Full-time students
• Must maintain at least 12 graduate credit hours
• Must maintain a 3.5 GPA
