Each year over 5,000 U of M students participate in academic internships or experiential
learning experiences such as student teaching or field-related practicum. Our office
is dedicated to providing students with the valuable, real-world experience that only
an internship can provide. Here, students will find information about locating and
preparing for the right internship to further their career goals. Employers will
find useful information on creating internship opportunities within their organizations,
and faculty members will find tools to help their students get the most from their
education at the University of Memphis.
