Student Affairs Access and Diversity Support Awards for Summer Internships

During the spring of 2011, the University of Memphis Scholarship Committee provided funding for undergraduate summer internships under the Student Affairs Access/ Diversity Support Awards. These funds helped to provide 33 students with an opportunity for summer internships both on the University campus as well as with non-profit community partners.

Interested students applied for the program and were placed in internships during April 2011.

For students participating in the program during the Summer 2011 academic term, the following documents may be helpful.

Tiffany Sherfield and Britney McWilliams attended a Leadership Academy Luncheon Summer 2011. The Summer Leadership Experience activities were free to all summer interns-student interns and students were encouraged to attend these sessions when possible for additional networking and leadership training.
