The Washington Center
Get ready to experience Washington DC in a whole new way! The Washington Center (TWC) provides selected students challenging opportunities to work and learn in Washington, D.C. for academic credit. Students earn academic credit as they complete an internship, an academic course, and leadership programming. UofM TWC Interns have successfully completed internships with government, corporate and non-profit organizations such as:
- Internal Revenue Service
- U. S. Marshals, Office of Congressional Affairs
- The Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars
- USA Today
- Center for the Study of the Presidency
- Environmental Protection Agency

Partial scholarships available! To be eligible, you must coordinate your application through Career Services BEFORE applying to TWC. Contact Career Services for a special application waiver code. Below are TWC deadlines. You must submit your application materials through Career Services at least 10 business days prior to TWC deadline date.
