About Our Office

The Office of Academic Internships at the U of M provides resources for students pursuing internships that relate their major or a related community interest.

Located in Brister Hall, Room 101, the Office of Academic Internships welcomes students and faculty to explore experiential learning opportunities such as internships, practicum, and field experiences.   Employers are also welcomed to our office to visit and learn more about how an academic internship can provide sustainable talent and opportunities for tomorrow’s young professionals within their organizations.

The OAI collaborates with many offices on campus to assist in providing exceptional opportunities for students and community partners.  Working with Career Services, academic departments, and student organization groups, the OAI functions to serve students with strong learning experiences through academic internships and experiential learning opportunities.
