High Performance Computing (HPC), also called research computing, is available to all faculty and staff at the University of Memphis.  If you currently work on research that requires a high volume of data manipulation and storage, HPC can help!

The HPC administrative team (hpcadmins@memphis.edu)

• consults with users to determine the best way to utilize HPC to enhance the reliability and security of your data throughout the course of your research
• trains users to work with HPC hardware and software
• maintains HPC hardware and software on campus

As of May 1, 2009, ITD will work with Penguin Computing to provide HPC for the campus community.
