UoM Penguin Computing Cluster Servers

- 122 compute nodes each with 8 cores (2.5GHz Opteron 2380) and 32 GB of memory
- 2 compute nodes each with 16 cores (2.3GHz Opteron) and 64 GB of memory
- 1 compute node with 16 cores (2.3GHz Opteron) and 128 GB of memory
- All compute nodes connected with InfiniBand

- 104TB of high performance Panasas storage
Tape Backup
- Tandberg T40+ StorageLibrary . The library will hold 40 LTO-4 cartridges giving a
capacity of 62.4 TB compressed.
