Turn on Your Computer's Firewalls

Windows

1. Click Start in the lower-left corner of your desktop.
2. Select Control Panel.
3. Double-click Windows Firewall icon.
4. Select On.
5. Click Save.

Mac

1. Click on the apple in the top left corner of your desktop.
2. Select System Preferences.
3. Double-click the Security icon.
4. Click the Firewall tab.
5. Select "Set Access for Specific Services and Applications."
6. Close the security window.
