Written by David Jones from Ohio State University, this World Wide Web server (HTTP server) runs on the VMSCluster as a DECthreads® application written at Ohio State.

Also known as the "people server" ( www.people.memphis.edu ), it housed approximately 8000 URL documents containing student, faculty, and departmental web sites. Future plans for this "personal" web space servicing U of M users are to migrate to the new UMdrive, the new U of M's web-based file sharing service.
