The University of Memphis, College of Communication and Fine Arts, Journalism department

option of choosing on-campus courses if your location allows you to travel to campus.
Our Journalism programs are accredited by The Accrediting Council on Education in
Journalism and Mass Communications (ACEJMC). Faculty for the online program are the
same as those who instruct our well-regarded on-campus program, and your degree is
awarded by The University of Memphis, College of Communication and Fine Arts. Graduates
are encouraged to participate in our University's graduation ceremonies if they wish.
Online programs are engaging and convenient but they do require high levels of self-discipline
and motivation. To ensure a successful online experience, it is essential to have
regular, reliable, access to the appropriate computer equipment and a high speed internet
connection.
