The SBA hosts at least two noted speakers a year at the law school.  This committee is in charge of finding these speakers, and planning the events that surround their engagements.  This is a year round committee.

The last SBA Speakers Series program featured Arkansas news reporter and author, Mara Leveritt. She spoke at University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law on Friday, September 23, 2011 about her take on the criminal justice system, her newest book DEVILS KNOT, and the recent release of the West Memphis Three.
