- Building Tours - Beginning in February, law school building tours are available every first and third Tuesday of the month at noon. The first tour will be February 2 at noon. Interested individuals must register at the front desk of the law school.
- Two U of M law students, Joe Aaron Mullis and Kevin Henson are semifinalists in the ABA Tax Section's 9th Annual Law Student Tax Challenge. (ABA press release)
- Scholarship by the University of Memphis law faculty continues to make a national impact. In 2009, publications written by Memphis law professors were cited by more than a dozen federal and state courts and in 67 law journals and 26 books.
- Interested in Becoming a Law Professor? The law school is convening a half day program, entitled "So You Want to Be a Law Professor," on Friday, February 12, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. in its new downtown facility.
- Professor Daniel Kiel has been awarded a faculty research grant from the Benjamin Hooks Institute for Social Change.
- U of M law professor, Andrew McClurg, has been recognized for excellence in legal education.

U of M Law School Professor Ernie Lidge is currently serving as a Reporter for the Tennessee Bar Association's Standing Committee on Ethics and Professional Responsibility. The committee is engaged in a major project that will result in recommendation for revisions of the Tennessee ethical rules.
