Audiovisuals The audiovisual collection is included in the library catalog. Ask at the Circulation
and Reference Desk for assistance with viewing this collection.
Carrels Study carrels are first come, first serve and are located throughout the law library.
Circulation and Reference Desk Reference staff is located at the Circulation and Reference Desk on Level One. Please
direct your inquiries to staff at this location. Access to print reserve material
for law classes is also available from the Circulation and Reference Desk.
Copiers There are three self-service photocopiers within the law library. There are two copiers
and two copy card vending machines in the northwest area of Level One. There is an
additional copier located in Copy Room 305 on Level Three. Instructions are posted
at these locations. The machines may be used with a student ID or with copy cards.
The cost per copy is established by the University. Report any difficulty in using
the equipment to the Circulation and Reference Desk on Level One. Click here for the

Government Publications  The Law Library is a selective depository library in the Federal Depoitory Library
Program. Documents can be found in our catalog. Please ask for assistance with documents
at the Circulation and Reference Desk.
The McWherter Library on the main campus of the University of Memphis is also part
of the FDLP and as a regional depository library, has agreed to receive all publications
made available to depositories and to retain those items in perpetuity (with some
exceptions). Uncle Sam - the government publications department at the University of Memphis
Interlibrary loan Interlibrary loan requests are handled by the reference staff. Ask at the Circulation
and Reference Desk if you think you need an interlibrary loan; often, the reference
staff will be able to suggest other resources in this library, other libraries, or
online.
Microfilm prints Microforms are located in room 104 on Level One. Copies can be e-mailed to yourself.
Request assistance with microforms at the Circulation and Reference Desk.
Missing books Report missing books to the Circulation and Reference Desk. If your need for the book
is urgent, reference staff may be able to suggest other sources for the information
or expedite an interlibrary loan request.
