Congratulations to the National Moot Court team – BLAKE NEILL, LAKEISHA SISCO-BECK, and BRICE TIMMONS – on their outstanding performance at the National Moot Court Competition regional competition in New Orleans.  The team reached the regional finals, earning a spot in the National Finals in New York City at the end of January.  The team defeated Vanderbilt, University of Tennessee and Louisiana State University and lost to Loyola.  The margin in the final round, according to the chief justice, was “one or two points.”  The team also had the second-place brief (again second to Loyola, the host school), a great accomplishment especially for a team of second-year students.
