Our Law School offers an Academic Support Program to help first-year students get off to a strong start academically. These students will have access to the Academic Support Program and will be provided a variety of resources that are essential to the success of their first year. The Academic Support Program consists of two components: a workshop series and individual tutorials. The workshop series, “Lunch and Learn”, begins early in the fall to assist students in areas such as class preparation, case briefing, study skills, and exam preparation. Workshops provide lunch for the students while the program director explains the basic skills needed for success in law school. The other component of the Academic Support Program is a series of tutorials. These tutorials are offered to first-year students who have any questions concerning their classes or want to improve their study skills. Tutorials are conducted through one-on-one meetings led by selected upper class students. The Academic Support Program is free and open to all first-years students. Current students can access the Academic Support TWEN site to find out more about the program by clicking on the link to the right.
