SUBSTANTIVE COVERAGE AND OBJECTIVES OF COURSE:

Comprehensive study of compensation and damages for death and disability due to injuries by accident and occupational diseases arising out of, and in the course of, employment. There is an emphasis on decisions of the Tennessee courts and the Tennessee Workers' Compensation Law.

RELATION TO OTHER OFFERINGS IN CURRICULUM:

Principles from Torts, Contracts, and Constitutional law are encountered.
