Services Offered
The Career Services Office provides the following services to assist students in making a successful transition from the scholastic environment to a professional one:
- Individual career counseling
- Providing access to career-related publications and other resources
- Maintaining resume files
- Presenting in-house workshops and seminars
- Videotaping of mock interviews
- Posting current job openings
- Exchanging newsletters with law schools nationwide
- Documenting placement statistics through the National Association for Law Placement's (NALP) annual Employment Report and Salary Survey.
- A comprehensive listing of writing contests available to law students nationwide.
Students may also participate in several job/career fairs:
- Southeast Minority Job Fair in Atlanta in August
- Southeastern Law Placement Consortium in Atlanta in August
- National Association for Public Interest Law Student Conference in Washington, D.C. in October
- Nashville Bar Association First-Year Minority Job Fair in February
