Services Offered

The Career Services Office provides the following services to assist students in making a successful transition from the scholastic environment to a professional one:

1. Individual career counseling
2. Providing access to career-related publications and other resources
3. Maintaining resume files
4. Presenting in-house workshops and seminars
5. Videotaping of mock interviews
6. Posting current job openings
7. Exchanging newsletters with law schools nationwide
8. Documenting placement statistics through the National Association for Law Placement's (NALP) annual Employment Report and Salary Survey.
9. A comprehensive listing of writing contests available to law students nationwide.

Students may also participate in several job/career fairs:

• Southeast Minority Job Fair in Atlanta in August
• Southeastern Law Placement Consortium in Atlanta in August
• National Association for Public Interest Law Student Conference in Washington, D.C. in October
• Nashville Bar Association First-Year Minority Job Fair in February
