Who is eligible?
All University of Memphis students in good academic standing are eligible to apply.  There are no limitations based upon class level, major area of study, or level of campus organization involvement.  Priority will be given to those students who will be returning to the campus in the fall.  We are limited to a maximum of 60 participants, so application is competitive.

Where will the University's session be held?
The University of Memphis LeaderShape® will be held at For the Kingdom Camp, which is located a few miles from the University. 

What is my time commitment?
In order to be able to complete the Institute, participants are expected to remain onsite all six days and five nights of the program.  Meals, lodging, and all required materials will be provided at the site, and the Institute is to be completed in residence.  Transportation to and from For the Kingdom Camp will be provided at the beginning and end of the week.

How much will it cost me?
The University is making this Institute available at no cost to participants from the University of Memphis.  To put that into perspective, the same training that we are providing costs about $1500 per person at the national sessions.

What do I need to bring?
All necessary educational materials will be provided as a part of the LeaderShape® Institute.  Prior to the session, all participants will be provided a list of personal items that they should bring.

What will I be doing throughout the week?
LeaderShape® is intensive, and work will be done individually, in Family Clusters, and as a Learning Community of all participants.  Please take a look at the Curriculum at a Glance section below for basic highlights from each day.


How do I apply?
Our application has been made available through the LeaderShape® Website.  Click on the link at the top of this page, and you will be forwarded to the application for our session.  You will have to register with LeaderShape® before being able to move on to the remainder of the application for our session.  Since the application is complete online and there is not save function, please be sure to complete the entire application before submitting.  You will be asked to complete the following questions as a part of the application; please keep responses to a maximum of 200 words:
