Conflict of Interest Policy UM 1692
This policy requires certain employees to read and acknowledge their understanding
of the conflicts of interest policy on an annual basis. These employees include those:
who have authority to approve financial transactions, who have been designated to
act on behalf of a person granted such authority, or was designated by a department
head because of their particular job responsibilities.
What does this mean to you?
The purpose of this requirement is to provide guidelines to help employees of the
University of Memphis avoid conflicts of interest as well as identify when a conflict
exists. There is no requirement to fill out any forms but you must login with your
username and password, after you have reviewed the policy. By clicking on the acknowledgement
form, you are certifying that you have read the policy and understand its contents.
