Clothesline Project Display

McWherter Library
Rotunda
October 26 - 30, 2009

The University Libraries supports the observance of National Domestic Violence Awareness Month by hosting a Clothesline Project in the McWherter Library rotunda during the period October 26-30 during library service hours.  The Clothesline Project features a display of decorated T-shirts the purpose of which is to show the different manifestations of domestic violence.  The T-shirts are decorated by students and hang from a clothesline attached to the second-floor stair wall facing the rotunda.   The activity is sponsored by the University of Memphis Student Activities Council.

You are welcome and encouraged to visit the display in the McWherter Library rotunda.
