U of M’s sixth annual Domestic Violence Awareness Week October 26-30 (Funded by Student Activities Council)
Oct. 26-30 Clothesline project, McWherter Library Decorate t-shirts in different colors symbolizing the various forms of domestic violence,
which are then hung from clotheslines.
Oct. 26, 4 p.m. Walk a Mile in Her Shoes, Student Plaza An international men's march to stop rape, sexual assault and gender violence, where
men walk in women's high-heeled shoes, followed by a discussion.
Oct. 27, 6 p.m. Screening of Enough, followed by discussion, Psychology Auditorium
Oct. 28, 1 p.m. Survivors Panel, Rose Theatre Lobby Domestic violence survivors share their stories.
Oct. 28, 7 p.m. Keynote speaker Teri Jendusa-Nicolai, Psychology Auditorium Jendusa-Nicolai is a survivor of kidnapping and abuse.
Oct. 29, 7 p.m. Warning Signs of Abuse Workshop, Richardson Tower Game Room SAC is partnering with the Residence Life Association to raise awareness.
