Booth (BA), an award-winning writer and photographer,
is working on biographies of musicians Gram Parsons and Johnny
Mercer. His first two books, The True Adventures of the
Rolling Stones and Rhythm Oil: A Journey through the
Music of the American South, were republished last year.

County Schools, was named Tennessee Superintendent of the
