July 6, 2017 - The University of Memphis Lambuth recently hired Joe Brandenburg as director of development. Brandenburg will focus on building relationships with individuals, corporations and foundations in support of UofM Lambuth's highest priorities.
Before joining the University, Brandenburg served as the director of development for Regional One Health for nearly six years. Brandenburg has more than 25 years of development experience with such institutions as the University of Tennessee Knoxville and Indiana University East.

"I am excited to be joining the dynamic development team at the University of Memphis and building philanthropic support for the Lambuth campus," said Brandenburg. He holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Tennessee Chattanooga and a Bachelor of Arts in mass communications from Western Kentucky University. Brandenburg is actively engaged in several organizations including the Association of Fundraising Professionals.

Dr. Niles Reddick, vice provost of UofM Lambuth, said, "While honoring Lambuth's storied past, the University of Memphis is committed to building a vibrant campus of the future that will be a catalyst for economic growth in West Tennessee by providing students affordable access to higher education."

The UofM began offering classes at the Lambuth campus in Jackson, Tenn., in August 2011. Since then, the University has committed to reviving the historical campus to become Jackson's most comprehensive four-year public university.
