University of Memphis Board of Trustees and Committees Will Meet Oct. 4

September 28, 2017 - The University of Memphis Board of Trustees and its committees will meet on campus Wednesday, Oct. 4.

Committee meetings will begin at 8:30 a.m. in the University Center Fountain View Suite (room 350). The members are scheduled to discuss proposals on agenda items and approve recommendations to be taken to the Board for action. Committee and board meeting agenda items include: Updates from University leadership, a master plan overview, new academic programs, tenure upon appointment, committee charter revisions and board policies.

The schedule for the day is: Academic, Research and Student Success Committee, 8:30 a.m.; Governance and Finance Committee, 9:45 a.m.; Audit Committee, 11 a.m.; and the full Board of Trustees meeting at 1:30 p.m. The Board of Trustees meeting will be held in the University Center Ballroom (room 320).
