The University of Memphis Summer Program Study Abroad Fair will be held Wednesday, Jan. 26, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. in the University Center Ballroom.

Students will have a chance to speak with Study Abroad faculty leaders, staff, and past program participants about international study opportunities for summer 2011. All students who attend will have a chance to win one of three $500 scholarships toward a U of M-sponsored study abroad program.

The University of Memphis Study Abroad program has more than 250 programs in 50 countries. Students of all majors and at all levels can apply to study in the country of their choice. Most institutional and federal aid can be applied toward the cost of study abroad.

In addition, the U of M has an International Experience Scholarship fund for students who study abroad. During the 2009-10 academic year, the University awarded a total of $486,900 in International Experience funds. All study abroad applicants who have completed a semester at the U of M are encouraged to apply.
