Students who are interested in attending the University of Memphis are invited to a reception on Tuesday, Jan. 24, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Landers Center (formerly the DeSoto Civic Center) in Southaven, Miss.

Representatives from the U of M’s Office of Recruitment and Orientation Services will be there to provide students and their families with information about the application and admissions process, the in-state tuition waiver that is available to students in DeSoto, Marshall, Tate, and Tunica counties in Mississippi, and financial aid and scholarship opportunities. Information also will be available on residence life, the honors program, and student organizations.
