The University of Memphis will host an enhanced Graduate School Recruitment Fair on
Monday, March 19, in the Michael D. Rose Theatre. Extended Fair hours will run from
1 to 6 p.m. to accommodate people who work, and free GRE workshops will be offered
at 2 and 5 p.m.
Michelle Hampton, associate director for global client relations for Educational Testing
Service (ETS), will present the free GRE workshops. She will cover the revised test
format, strategies for answering questions, tips for success, and test-taking skills.
The fair will offer information about the U of M’s 25 doctoral degrees, 54 master’s
degrees, 21 graduate certificates, and the education specialist degree. Prospective
students can also meet and talk with graduate faculty and students, learn about financial
aid and scholarship/fellowship programs, and apply on-site for graduate school at
the University of Memphis.
U of M President Shirley Raines and Provost Ralph Faudree will be on hand to present
door prizes.
The event is free and open to the public. Parking is available in the Zach Curlin
garage adjacent to the Rose Theatre.
