The University of Memphis Alumni Association and the Tiger Scholarship Fund are offering
a chance to meet and greet U of M coaches during the spring 2012 Tiger Tour. The Tour
will feature appearances by Josh Pastner, U of M men’s head basketball coach; Justin
Fuente, U of M head football coach; Melissa McFerrin, U of M women’s head basketball
coach; and other coaches and athletics administrators.
The tour will make a stop in Jackson, Tenn., Wednesday, April 25, at 5:30 p.m. The
event will be held on the University of Memphis Lambuth Campus in the Wilder Student
Union’s Jack Morris Ballroom. To register for the reception, go to www.memphis.edu/alumni/gotothegame.php, then follow the “2012 Tiger Tour” link.
The registration deadline is April 20. Tickets are $15 per person.
“I’m looking forward to this year’s Tiger Tour,” Pastner said. “Memphis athletics
has had another wonderful year, and the Tiger Tour is a great way to relive and celebrate
the great moments and accomplishments of the past year.”
Tammy Hedges, executive director of the U of M Alumni Association and director of
alumni and constituent services, added “We're excited to return to the beautiful Lambuth campus, and we’re looking
forward to seeing our alumni in the Jackson area. We would also like to invite all
Lambuth alumni to come meet our great Tiger coaching staff.”
The Tiger Tour also has events scheduled in Nashville and Memphis.
