The Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the University of Memphis will host
“Lunch with an Entrepreneur” with staffing executive Jason Gillum as the guest speaker.
The event will be Nov. 21 at noon in the FedEx Institute of Technology, Room 326.
Gillum will share the story of how he started his company and offer advice for those
who want to own their own business. Admission is free, and pizza will be provided.
Gillum is the president and founder of Millennium Search, opened in 2004. The temporary
and full-time staffing and solutions firm specializes in information technology, clerical,
accounting and finance, light industrial, and management.
Prior to forming Millennium Search, Gillum worked for a Fortune 500 staffing firm.
He has more than 12 years of staffing experience and 13 years in management. Millennium
Search has built solid relationships with many well-known corporations, including
Smith & Nephew, Methodist Healthcare, AutoZone, Mid-America Apartments, and International
Paper.
Gillum holds a BBA in management from the University of Memphis’ Fogelman College
of Business & Economics.
