The University of Memphis Arts & Sciences Alumni Chapter will honor four individuals at its Outstanding Alumni Awards dinner Thursday, Nov. 8, at Memphis Botanic Garden’s Hardin Hall. A reception will begin at 6 p.m., followed by the dinner and program at 7.

Tickets are $65 per person, $500 for a table of eight, or $50 for recent U of M graduates (since 2002). Proceeds will benefit the Arts & Sciences Alumni Chapter’s Book Scholarship.

The honored alumni include Dr. Paul Green (MA ’66, PhD ’70), an industrial organizational psychologist and bestselling author; Dave Brown (BS ’70), chief meteorologist at WMC-TV; and Dr. Karen Chancellor (BA ’80, MS ’80), chief medical examiner for Shelby County. Dr. Sean Lee (BBA ’98), CEO of Porter-Leath, will be recognized as Friend of the College.
