University of Memphis head basketball coach Josh Pastner will discuss sportsmanship
and civility as it relates to the Tiger basketball program on Oct. 20 at noon in the
University Center Theatre. Pastner will address conduct at games, as well as how fans
and students can use the concept of civility in their daily lives. A question-and-answer
session will follow. The program is free and open to everyone.
Pastner’s talk is part of the “Respect: Civility at the University of Memphis” campaign
aimed at creating a more civil campus. The program explores ways to promote respect
for one’s self, others, and the community.
