Show your Tiger pride by participating in the fifth annual “True Blue 5k.”  Organized by the University of Memphis Young Alumni Committee, the race will be held Friday, Nov. 4, at 7 p.m.  Race-day registration and packet pick-up will be held from 5 to 6:45 p.m. on the University Center lawn on the U of M campus.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Alumni Association and its work to engage, connect, and advance the University’s students, alumni, and campus community, as well as the Young Alumni Legacy Scholarship for U of M graduate students.

Runners and walkers will enjoy a certified course that takes them through the U of M campus. Racers will cross the finish line to enjoy music, food, Tiger spirit, and an awards ceremony. Awards will include individual winners in several traditional categories, as well as a spirit award and group/organization award.

All University of Memphis students, alumni, and Tiger fans are invited to participate. To register, visit http://trueblue5k.racesonline.com. Registration is $25 for a chip-timed race. Memphis Runners Track Club members, U of M Alumni Association members, students, and staff receive a $2 discount if they register by Oct. 31.

Parking will be available in the Southern Avenue lot across from the registration area.
