The University of Memphis and Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity will host a two-day blood
drive in partnership with Lifeblood Tuesday, Oct. 30, and Wednesday, Oct. 31, from
8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the lobby of the Rose Theatre on campus. The Halloween-themed
event is open to the general public.
Donors who park in the campus garage at 505 Zach Curlin Street will have their parking
validated at Rose Theatre. Refreshments will be served throughout the day, and all
donors will receive a special edition T-shirt in commemoration of the event. Lifeblood
mascot Phil A. Pint will also be on hand to welcome donors.
The blood drive is part of a year-long series of events being held on campus and across
the city in accordance with the University of Memphis’ centennial celebration. For
