The University of Memphis and Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity will host a two-day blood
drive in partnership with Lifeblood Wednesday, Oct. 30, and Thursday, Oct. 31, from
8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the lobby of the Rose Theatre on campus. The blood drive is open
to students, faculty, staff and the community.
All donors will receive a Halloween-themed T-shirt from Lifeblood. Walk-ins are welcome,
but appointments will be honored first. Those with appointments will receive a coupon
for a free small Dunkin Donuts coffee, while supplies last. Donors must be at least
17 years old (or 16 with parental consent), weigh at least 115 pounds, and be in generally
Donors who park in the campus garage at 505 Zach Curlin St. will have their parking
validated at the Rose Theatre. Lifeblood mascot Phil A. Pint will also be on hand
to welcome donors.
