The University of Memphis promotes healthy living through a healthy environment for
its students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
The Memphis Healthy U initiative is designed to encourage students, employees, and
visitors to eat healthier, move more, and become tobacco free.
We offer a plethora of FREE events encouraging you to move more, eat healthier, and be tobacco free through our Midday
Moves program, weekly nutrition seminars, Tiger Bike Share, and other initiatives.
- Midday Moves occurs Monday-Thursday at 12:30p.m. on the UC Alumni Mall. The sessions last between 20-30
minutes and vary each day. *In case of inclement weather, the location may change to the Campus Recreation Center.

- Nutrition seminars will be held each Friday in Mitchell Hall (MI), room 403, 11:45a.m.-12:20p.m. Visit
