Midday Moves
 
Memphis Healthy U invites you to take a break from your day and get away from the office or classroom to join in a physical activity with Midday Moves.
 
Each Monday-Thursday at 12:30 p.m., there will be 20 to 30 minutes of planned physical activity held on the Alumni Mall outside of the University Center. Activities will range from yoga to line dancing to Frisbee tosses, and will be coordinated by the Memphis Healthy U committee. All activities are free and open to the public as well as the entire campus.

SEPTEMBER EVENTS

September 15- Kick off event w/Dr. Rudd!

Come join us as we do the Wobble, Tiger Hop and other fun activities. Free refreshments!

 September 16-Mindful Movements w/the Counseling Center*LOCATION CHANGED TO UC 338

 Come learn some mindful meditation techniques. Sessions will be held at noon and 12:30p.m.

 September 17-Yoga

We'll provide the mat, or you can bring your own!

September 18- Kan Jam w/Tiger Dining

Get the frisbee in the Kan and get a prize!

September 19- DYI (Do it yourself)

Take a walk, do a dance, just be sure you're moving!

September 22- Mindful Movements at Noon in UC 338, or Field Day games w/Health and Sport Sciences at 12:30 outside the UC

Sack races and other fun relay events.

September 23- Tailgate Games w/Human Resources

Play corn hole and ladders with the University's Human Resources Team!

September 24- Yoga

We'll provide the mat, or you can bring your own!

September 25- Kan Jam w/Tiger Dining

Get the frisbee in the Kan and get a prize!

September 26- DIY (Do it yourself)

Talk a walk, do a dance, just be sure you're moving!

September 29- Playground Competitions w/School of Public Health

Red Rover and other fun games

September 30- Basic Training w/Army ROTC

Experience some of the drills our military members have to go through for basic training.
