Midday Moves
 
Memphis Healthy U invites you to take a break from your day and get away from the office or classroom to join in a physical activity with Midday Moves.
 
Each Monday-Thursday at 12:30 p.m., there will be 20 to 30 minutes of planned physical activity held on the Alumni Mall outside of the University Center. Activities will range from yoga to line dancing to Frisbee tosses, and will be coordinated by the Memphis Healthy U committee. All activities are free and open to the public as well as the entire campus.

SEPTEMBER and OCTOBER EVENTS

September 29- Playground Competitions w/School of Public Health

Red Rover, freeze tag, and other fun games

 September 30- Basic Training w/ROTC

 Experience some of the drills our military service members have to go through for basic training.

 October 1- Kan Jam w/Tiger Dining

Get the Frisbee in the Kan and get a prize!

October 2- Yoga

We'll provide the mat, or  you can bring your own!

October 3- DYI (Do it yourself)

Take a walk, do a dance, just be sure you're moving!

October 6- Aerobics w/University College

Let's get physical!

October 7- Tiger Blue Goes Green Recycling Relay Race!

Come out to the Tiger Blue Goes Green event from 10a.m.-2p.m. in the Student Plaza!

October 8- Kan Jam w/Tiger Dining

Get the Frisbee in the Kan and win a prize!

October 9- Yoga

We'll provide the mat, or you can bring your own.

October 10- DIY (Do it yourself)

Take a walk, do a dance, just be sure you're moving!

October 13-14- FALL BREAK! No activities

Have a safe and enjoyable break.

October 15- Kan Jam w/Tiger Dining

Get the Frisbee in the Kan and get a prize!

October 16- Yoga

We'll provide the mat, or you can bring your own.

October 17- DIY (Do it yourself)

Take a walk, do a dance, just make sure you're moving!
