Fresh Connections are learning communities that use clusters of courses to connect
different disciplines to a common theme. Students in these learning communities take
courses together to develop a deeper understanding of the material and correlation
of various disciplines.
Fresh Connections provides a social and academic experience that will lead to student success by providing a collaborative learning experience. Freshman students enrolled in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math majors at the University of Memphis can choose from Fresh Connections learning communities such as Entry to Engineering and Honors STEM.
