The MIS Department is supported by a council of professional business partners who give advice about courses and programs that are most important to the business profession. The MIS advisory council is actively supports the academic mission of the MIS department at the University of Memphis through initiatives that have a significant positive financial and academic impact. The representatives of this council are MIS executives from  a diverse set of industries.
