Assistant Professor of MIS
The Fogelman College of Business & Economics is seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor in MIS for fall 2013. Qualifications:
Applicants should have earned their Ph.D. degree with a concentration in information
systems or a related field by the beginning of the appointment and begun to establish
a record of excellence in research, evidenced by research targeted at high quality
journals. In addition, the candidate should demonstrate a commitment to teaching excellence.
The Department of Management Information Systems is an academically diverse, professionally active group of 17 full-time faculty members
and offers degree programs at all levels. Record of effective college-level teaching
and top tier scholarly publications desired. This position will support research in
the department’s Systems Testing Excellence Program which is a top national academic research center in software testing. Preference
will also be given to applicants with expertise in technical areas such as software
testing topics, project management, and business information assurance. Teaching responsibilities
