Biographical Summary Shane is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Management Information Systems at
the University of Memphis. His current research focuses on the impact of information
technologies in addressing global social needs such as healthcare and education. Other
research interests include examining the development and implementation of new IT
enabled business models in the age of the Internet. He has served as a reviewer for
the International Conference on Information Systems, Americas Conference on Information
Systems and the International Journal of E-Business Research.
Shane has extensive industry experience including founding and operating a successful
technology consulting business in addition to working in various IT management positions
including Information Technology Director for a telecommunications company. He enjoys
spending time with his wife and kids, playing golf, attending college football and
basketball games, and just being outdoors
