Biographical Summary Wade M. Jackson received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration
from Lambuth College in 1973, MBA from The University of Memphis in 1976 and his Ph.D.
in Business Statistics with minors in Management Information Systems (MIS) and Management
Science from Texas A & M University in 1983. His MIS training includes the AACSB Information
Systems fcbe_faculty Development Institute in 1984 and a semester sabbatical at Indiana
University in 1987.
Teaching areas include: management and strategic planning of Information Systems,
survey of Information Systems, business statistics and quantitative methods. He is
currently the Undergraduate Student Services Director for Fogelman College.
Dr. Jackson has published in both the Information Systems and Statistical disciplines.
His work has appeared in Information & Management, Computers and Operations Research,
Information Processing and Management, and The Journal of Statistical Computation
and Simulation. Dr. Jackson has served as a Discussant, Reviewer and Session Chair
at National and Regional Professional Meetings and as reviewer for Decision Sciences.
Finally, Dr. Jackson has directed the design and programming of Management Support
Systems software, and has provided consulting support for industry.
